There is something I really like about a pair of jeans that doesn't try too hard.
No unnecessary details. No complicated finishes. Nothing wrapped around the idea of what jeans should be.
Just a really good pair of jeans.
For me, the beauty is in the simplicity. 99% cotton and 1% elastane, so they still have that proper denim feel, with just enough stretch to make them comfortable to actually live in.
The kind of jeans you put on in the morning and don't think about again.
We kept the cut classic too. Nothing exaggerated, nothing designed to look good for one particular season. Just a shape that feels familiar, easy and flattering.
There are two fits: Relaxed and Straight.
The Relaxed has a little more room through the hip and thigh, with a straight leg and a looser opening. Easy, comfortable and the kind of fit I personally love for everyday dressing.
The Straight is a little more fitted, with a slightly higher rise and a slimmer straight-leg opening. A little cleaner, a little sharper, but still very much a classic jean.
And then there are two colours, because sometimes you really don't need more than that.
A lighter wash for those easy days. A darker wash when you want things to feel a little more polished.
I think good jeans should work around your life, not the other way around.
With a white shirt. A blazer. A simple tee. Flats. Heels. Hair up, hair down, running late, going somewhere nice or doing absolutely nothing.
That's the point.
Nothing complicated. Nothing trying to be clever.
Just a classic pair of jeans, made to be worn again and again.
And then, hopefully, back to better days.
